Crisis Connection Inc. is a nonprofit (501©3) that was established in 1987 by a group of caring and courageous volunteers.
The volunteers came together to address a growing concern regarding the impact that domestic violence was having in rural and remote portions of Southwest Indiana (our service delivery area). What started as a volunteer run 24-hour hotline to address the needs of victims of domestic violence, has evolved into an agency that provides comprehensive services to all victims of both domestic and sexual violence. We are proud of our humble beginnings as a grassroots organization and intend to continue to courageously work to mitigate the impact and drive social change to eliminate these crimes.

We are a passionate group of people working to eliminate the negative impact that sexual and domestic violence have in the communities we serve. Our team is made up of Victim Advocates and Prevention Advocates. Our Victim Advocates address the needs of the people that are impacted by these crimes. Our Prevention Advocates provide programming aimed at empowering youth and adults with skills to develop healthy relationships, to identify others in need and how to address unhealthy behaviors.
