“My advocate was very nice and made me feel much better. I appreciate her kindness and willingness to help me.”
Message from Executive director:
Domestic Violence has increased significantly during the COVID-19 Pandemic. All of us at Crisis Connection Inc. want to encourage those who are safe at home to be the voice for those that are not safe. Silence and lack of understanding play a large part in why domestic violence persists. While the responsibility for domestic violence lies with those causing the harm, everyone can play a role in preventing violence and looking out for each other’s safety. Ideally everyone in our community would become informed about the signs of domestic violence and learn how to safely respond when you see signs violence. Our Hotline/helpline is intended to provide both crisis response and educational support for those wanting to learn more. Be more afraid of turning your back on violence than of asking questions. Connect with us by calling 1(800)245-4580.
